Equibrillium - Hop Wave 2

Hop Wave 2 takes one of our favorite DIPAs, dHop2, supersizes the hop charge and adds a touch of lactose. We mentioned during the dHop14/and Hop Wave 14 release that we’ve had our experiments on high, where we were able to create an intense amount of the “EQ juice” at the small scale and we’ve been working on applying this to commercial batches. We’ve made great progress in the lab, and while experiments remain on high, we believe this batch exhibits the EQ juice we’re looking for. Hop Wave 2 pours a very murky tangerine color, releasing notes of bright tropical juice, pulpy tangerine, and earthy grass. The taste is dank-citrus, pine juice, with an escalating bright finishes that builds into smooth hop frosting. (Zitat Equilibrium Brewery)

Stillwater - The Cloud

The beer is named The Cloud, a 7 percent ABV IPA brewed with oats and lactose as well as Hallertau Blanc, Hell Mellon, Mandarin Bavaria and Mosaic hops. In an email, Brian Strumke, owner of Stillwater, told Tenemu that although the company has brewed beers with lactose before, this is the first beer “that will feature it as a prominent ingredient.” (Zitat Stillwater Artisanal)

Cloudwater - Brut IPA

The Bruery - Saule

Saule is French for “willow”, a traditional nine-year anniversary gift. Our ninth anniversary ale, Saule, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale, fermented with our house yeast strain, aged in bourbon barrels and blended using the solera method. This means that a portion of each anniversary ale is saved in oak barrels and blended in with the next year’s production, providing more complexity and depth of character as the years go by. The result is layered in robust and complex flavors of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and oak. (Zitat The Bruery)

At the end of last summer we took a trip stateside to catch up with Jackie O’s and brew this smooth assed bourbon barrel aged Imperial Porter. Brewed with 120 gallons of local wildflower honey & aged in bourbon barrels, this brew has the lightness and complexity of a winning bourbon with all the beautiful notes of porter to back it up.
